Gem dice are fragile and don't have the same hardness as resin dice, so I recommend rolling them on something with a soft surface, such as a soft velvet dice plate, to keep it from cracking. You can also search for dice trays in the store, if you buy more than 2 sets of dice (including 2 sets), you'll get a velvet dice tray for free!
